(Vine Grove, KY) – The Kentucky State Police have arrested a former deputy jailer and charged him with three counts of sodomy 3rd degree, and one count of rape 3rd degree.
KSP Information Officer Scotty Sharp says Jerome Perry (42) of Vine Grove was arrested on September 4th, but isn’t sure of the actual dates of offense, which took place at the Larue County Detention Center, where Perry was employed at the time of the offenses. The victims were inmates of the Larue Co. Detention Center. They filed the report on August 27, 2018, according to Sharp. During the KSP detectives interview, Perry claimed he had oral sex performed on him at the jail by two of the inmates, and he admitted to sexual intercourse with a third inmate.
Perry was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. Sharp said he is no longer an employee at the Larue Co. Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
