At Thursday night’s special called Clarkson City Commission meeting, commissioners agreed to send 40 letters to the owners of troubled properties in the city limits of Clarkson.
The property issues include overgrown grass, garbage and debris in yards and driveways, and in some cases, dilapidated properties. Commissioners and Mayor Bonnie Henderson agreed to revisit the 40 properties early next week to ensure the conditions of the properties have not changed.
The letters request the property owners take steps in a timely fashion to remedy the issues, or face further, as of yet undetermined action by the city commission.
Commissioners also entered into a 45 minute executive session regarding personnel and emerged saying no action was taken.
