Kentucky Kingdom has announced that it is extending its early bird season pass price through July 4.  Passes will remain on sale at the early bird price of $69.95 until midnight on Wednesday, July 4, after which the price will increase by $50, rising to $119.95.

Julie Johnson, Kentucky Kingdom’s Director of Sales and Marketing, said, “The unusually cold spring, followed by record-breaking heat, interspersed with severe storms, have all contributed to a decline in attendance at theme parks throughout the region, as families are discouraged from thinking about visiting parks and buying season passes under these circumstances.  We want to give every family in our area the opportunity to catch up and enjoy a summer of fun at Kentucky Kingdom.  We even created a special ad – featuring Ben Franklin, no less! – to celebrate the extension of our season pass offer through July 4.  You can find the ad on our website, kentuckykingdom.com.  We think you’ll enjoy it!”

A Kentucky Kingdom season pass includes free parking (normally $8.00), $1.00 soft drinks all season long, and substantial discounts on purchases inside the park, including food, games, ice cream delights, and cabana rentals.  A season pass also entitles the pass holder to a free zipline adventure at Jefferson Memorial Forest, an exciting and highly interactive three-hour experience regularly priced at $70.

A season pass can be purchased online at kentuckykingdom.com or at the park any time during operating hours.
