WK Parkway driver and passenger busted with LSD, other drugs after speeding 26 mph over limit

Sunday afternoon at approximately 1:15, Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling 26 miles per hour over the limit on the Western Kentucky Parkway in Hardin County.

Upon executing a traffic stop at the westbound 132 mile marker and making contact with the driver, 20-year-old Logan McKinney, of Paducah, police conducted a search of the vehicle. During the search, authorities found “numerous types of illegal drugs,” including LSD and marijuana.

McKinney was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (LSD), trafficking in a controlled substance (drug unspecified), trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding 26 mph over the limit.

Police also arrested a passenger, 19-year-old Katherine Jo Adkins, of Georgetown, and charged her with trafficking in a controlled substance (LSD), trafficking in a controlled substance (drug unspecified), trafficking in marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both suspects were lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on $75,000 bonds.
