The Barren County Sheriff’s Office says two suspects are on the run after a shooting in a church parking lot.

On Saturday night, police were dispatched to TJ Samson Hospital after 22-year-old Joey Brown, of Glasgow, arrived at the ER with a gunshot wound to his neck, according to multiple media reports. Brown told police he was involved in an altercation over money with John Wheat and Ashley Finn in the parking lot of Woodland United Baptist Church, in Barren County.

During the altercation, Wheat and Finn both brandished firearms, with Wheat firing a point-blank shot into Brown’s neck.

Anyone with information on the location of John Wheat and Ashley Finn are asked to contact the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.

Brown is in stable condition at a Louisville hospital.
