Grayson County High School will be well-represented in the 4th District, All-District Symphonic Band; the top ensemble in the district.
Jackson Parker, Alexis Coon, Kaylie Westphal, Jeremiah Embry, Jacob Swift, Noah Gawarecki, and Mason Parker were selected and will perform February 2 and 3 under the baton of world renowned composer/conductor, David Holsinger.
The same audition also qualified students to move on to the second round of the Kentucky All-State Band auditions. All seven chosen for the district honor qualified, along with Darrenger Huff and Jonah Nolan.
All-District auditions for freshmen and sophomores will be held in January.
