The Butler County High School football team will be forced to play its two remaining home games at different locations.
Issues with the football field, caused by an invasion of moles, grub worms, and as many as 10 skunks have created several holes in the field, rendering it unsafe, Superintendent Scott Howard told the Beech Tree News.
The field has been in need of work, but until this point, no safety concerns were caused by the field’s ongoing issues.
The Butler County High School football team has two games remaining on its schedule, versus Todd County Central and Ohio County. The game against Todd County will be moved to Thursday, October 19, at Warren East High School, and the game against Ohio County will be moved to Ohio County High School.
