The man arrested for killing an Ohio County man has been indicted by a grand jury on over a dozen charges, including murder.
Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said that 33-year-old Aaron McQuady, of Sebree (Webster Co.), was indicted by an Ohio County Grand Jury for first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, nine counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, and three counts of tampering with physical evidence.
Matthew Wallace, of Rockport, was killed in the shooting. His brother, Christopher Wallace, also of Rockport, was struck by gunfire but survived the attack. Both victims were found in the driveway of the residence.
McQuady was arrested at his home by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office only hours after the shooting.
He is being held in the Ohio County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting nor other circumstances surrounding the incident.
