A man with a lengthy criminal history and four warrants has been arrested in Beaver Dam.

Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said that Monday morning at approximately 2:55, deputies were conducting a follow-up investigation regarding a domestic dispute at 1179 Patterson Road.

Upon arriving at the home, deputies made contact with 27-year-old Nathaniel Holland, of Ohio County, and 27-year-old Megan Embry, of Owensboro. Deputies, Beatty said, knew both subjects had multiple outstanding warrants.

Police, during a search of Holland’s vehicle, located methamphetamine, marijuana, syringes and digital scales, Beatty said.

Holland was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), fourth-degree assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served with the four outstanding warrants.

Embry was served with three outstanding warrants.

They were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center. Holland is no longer listed as an inmate.

Holland, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, has at least seven felony convictions dating back to 2013. The convictions, for charges ranging from burglary to two convictions for trafficking in methamphetamine (the most recent in March 2020), came in Daviess and Ohio counties.

He is on parole until February 2024.
