Law enforcement in Ohio County executed a search warrant Tuesday morning and arrested three suspects on a total of a dozen drug charges.
Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said deputies, the Pennyrile Drug Task Force and Kentucky State Police executed the warrant at a residence on Hwy 62 west in Beaver Dam Tuesday morning just before 8:00.
During a search of the home, police confiscated methamphetamine, prescription pills, marijuana, rifles, shotguns, and drug paraphernalia, Beatty said.
Police arrested 66-year-old Gary Birchwell, 47-year-old Vickie Whitler and 59-year-old Marty Decker, all of Beaver Dam, and charged all three were charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, drug unspecified) and prescription controlled substance not in its proper container.
Birchwell and Whitler were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, with Birchwell additionally charged with possession of marijuana.
Terry Roarx, 37, and Brittany Worth, 29, were arrested on outstanding warrants.
All five suspects were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
