A Clarkson man has been jailed in Hardin County after ramming a woman’s vehicle as she drove and breaking into her residence.
Thursday night at approximately 10:30, Kentucky State Police responded to Flint Hill Road in White Mills on the report of a frantic woman. The victim told police that a man, 32-year-old Joshua L. Logsdon, had rammed her vehicle multiple times as she drove, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.
She further told law enforcement she had been at a friend’s house when Logsdon called her multiple times. She left the residence and spotted Logsdon’s Ford F-150 truck near the intersection of Hwy 224 and Flint Hill Road, the newspaper reports. Logsdon approached the female’s vehicle and began ramming her van as she attempted to drive to her home in White Mills.
When she arrived at her residence, she found the front door open and her house ransacked. A witness said Logsdon was earlier driving around the home. Police noted that fresh tire tracks were evident around the residence.
Police then went to Logsdon’s Clarkson residence and said he emitted a strong odor of alcohol and was agitated. Logsdon’s truck, with damage to the front and driver’s side of the vehicle, was found at the intersection of Millerstown Road and Downs School Road.
Logsdon was arrested and charged with second-degree assault (domestic violence) and second-degree burglary and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
