A Leitchfield woman has been killed in a single-car accident on Sadler Road.
Sunday morning at approximately 11:45, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Sonny Poteet, the Leitchfield Fire Department and EMS responded to the accident at the intersection of Sadler Road and Blowtown Road.
Officials said a Nissan passenger car, being driven by 41-year-old Crystal Willis, left the roadway and struck a concrete road tile. Willis was pronounced deceased at the scene by Grayson County Deputy Coroner Larry Holeman. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, officials said.
It’s possible, officials stated, that Willis suffered a medical emergency prior to the crash, as there were no skid marks at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled to take place at the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
