Authorities have released the identities of two Grayson County residents killed in a Hardin County crash.
Officials said 35-year-old Josh Clemons and his wife, 27-year-old Trevanna “Charlotte” Russell, were pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle accident in the 11000 block of Hwy 62 west, near West Hardin Middle School.
Two Cecilia residents were airlifted to a Louisville hospital.
The accident happened Wednesday afternoon at approximately 4:40 local time.
Clemons and Russell were traveling west in a Ford Mustang when the crash occurred, while the two Cecilia residents were traveling east in a truck, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.
The two deaths come after a recent Grayson County High School graduate and Leitchfield resident were killed in car accidents a few days apart in late May.
Dominic Hughes, 20, a 2019 GCHS graduate, was killed in a car accident the night of May 23. Only a few days later, Jacob “Jake” Wisdom, 26, of Leitchfield, perished during the early morning hours of May 27 in a single-vehicle accident near the 120-mile marker of the westbound Western Kentucky Parkway.
