A drug trafficking investigation by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and Beaver Dam Police Department has resulted in the arrest of three suspects on drug charges.
Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said that police received multiple complaints about drug activity at a residence in the 2300 block of Goshen Road, about three miles northwest of Beaver Dam.
“Officers were able to generate enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence,” Beatty said. During the execution of the warrant at the home, occupied by 45-year-old Mary Hunsaker, law enforcement located methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana, Gabapentin, Zolpidem (a highly addictive sleep medication), marijuana, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested Hunsaker and charged her with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested at the residence were 55-year-old Patrick Heflin, of Beaver Dam, and 37-year-old Annie Lloyd, of Utica. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Lloyd was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.
All three were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but are no longer listed as inmates.
