A teenage driver has been arrested after pointing a shotgun and rifle at a vehicle during a road rage incident on the Western Kentucky Parkway near White Mills.
Lucas P. Justice, 18, of Crofton (Christian Co.), was arrested Saturday night and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, a class D felony.
The News-Enterprise reports that the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office said Justice “drove beside another vehicle while heading eastbound on the parkway and showed the two occupants of the vehicle the barrel of a shotgun.”
When the driver of the other car slowed and fell behind Justice’s vehicle, Justice exited the parkway at White Mills and slammed on his brakes. As the other car, which also exited at White Mills, drove by Justice he then allegedly pointed an AR-15 out the driver’s window.
At the time of Justice’s arrest, police found a loaded shotgun and unloaded AR-15 in his vehicle, the newspaper reports.
Justice was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $1,500 cash bond.
