The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in McHenry.
Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said that on Friday night at approximately 11:00, deputies, the Beaver Dam and Hartford Police Departments and Kentucky State Police responded to the shooting on Howard Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found an unidentified male had been shot in the lower abdomen, authorities said. The victim was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The identity of the victim is being withheld “for the integrity of the (ongoing) investigation,” Beatty said. No arrest has been made.
