The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says additional lane closures on I-65 near Lebanon Junction will take place this week.
According to transportation cabinet spokesman Chris Jessie, lane closures are scheduled for this week as preparation continues for an I-65 rehab project near Lebanon Junction.
Jessie said that on Tuesday, “removal of cable barrier sections will require closure of the northbound, inside lane near exit 102 between 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The northbound, inside lane exit 105 will be closed between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.”
Beginning Wednesday, an additional lane closure will be added for the southbound, inside lane just before exit 105, Jessie said, where a two-week construction project on the “northern end crossover” will take place.
Construction of the southern end crossover just south of exit 102 began last week and will require continued closure of the southbound, inside lane from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day this week.
Jessie encourages motorists to pay close attention to signs posted ahead of and through the construction zone.
