Police looking for two missing Meade Co. teens, man who may be connected to their disappearance

The Meade County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two missing teenage girls as well as the man who may be connected to their disappearance.

Sheriff Phillip Wimpee said 17-year-old Jasmine R. Chism and 16-year-old Hannah R. Hughes have not been seen since Tuesday night as the pair left Hannah’s Brandenburg residence at approximately 9:00.

Wimpee added, “Hannah did reach out to her parents and said they were both okay,” but law enforcement continues to search for the girls.

The sheriff’s office is also looking for 20-year-old Desmond Meade, a friend of the missing teens, as he may be connected to the girls’ disappearance.

Police said Jasmine stands 5-feet-6 and weighs 125 pounds. She has green eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt and black tennis shoes.

Hannah stands 5-feet-5 and weighs 145 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray tank top and gray jacket, and black checkered Van shoes.

Anyone with information on the location of any of the three subjects is asked to contact the Meade County Sheriff’s Office at 270-422-4937.
