Suspect dies while being arrested by Glasgow police

Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of male suspect who died while being arrested by Glasgow police.

According to police, Tuesday morning at approximately 7:40, the Glasgow Police Department responded to a burglary in progress on Cleveland Avenue. Upon arriving, police found 35-year-old Jeremy S. Marr outside the residence. While attempting to arrest Marr, police said the suspect suffered a “medical emergency.” EMS was dispatched to the scene and transported Marr to TJ Samson Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy has been scheduled at the State Medical Examiner’s office in Louisville.
