Police raid Loflin’s in Leitchfield, make two arrests

The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force, Leitchfield Police Department and Kentucky State Police raided Loflin’s Auto Parts and Service Center at 224 West White Oak Street, in Leitchfield.

While executing a search warrant at the property Monday morning beginning at about 8:50, several items were seized, police said, including methamphetamine, marijuana, guns, drug paraphernalia, and cash.

Police arrested the business owner, 54-year-old Roney “Jay” Loflin, of Leitchfield, and charged him with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carissa F. Hafford, 21, of Leitchfield, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A second search warrant was also executed on a related property on Bloomington Road, police said.

Both suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.

Additional charges are pending.
