Police are again asking for help locating a Monroe County woman missing since October 2019.
Authorities said 21-year-old Katie Cawthorn, of Fountain Run, was last seen on October 1, 2019, in Monroe County. She was reported missing on October 12.
Authorities said Katie stands 5-foot tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a pink shirt and brown boots.
Her family issued the following statement to Missing Persons Cases Network:
“We need help and I feel like no one wants to help us or even cares. Just because she has an addiction, she is still a person. She is someone’s momma, daughter, sister, and friend. We love and are very, very worried about her. What if it was your family member? If anyone has seen her please contact the police. Katie, if you see this, please let us know you are okay, and we love you”.
Anyone with information on Katie’s location is asked to contact Kentucky State Police at 606-784-4127.
