A woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

Thursday afternoon at approximately 4:30, Grayson County Deputy Rick Melhbauer, the Clarkson Fire Department and EMS responded to the 113 mile marker of the eastbound parkway and found that 24-year-old Kimberly Deshon, of Louisville, had hydroplaned in rainy conditions.

Deshon’s Ford Fusion left the rain-soaked roadway, traveled down an embankment as it spun and struck the opposite embankment.

Deshon suffered a laceration on her head and was transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center by EMS.
