A woman has been arrested in the disappearance of an Edmonson County teenager.
On Monday, a 16-year-old male from Brownsville was reported missing. Police, though, received a tip that he had been at the Edmonson County Public Library, according to news outlets. Deputies arrived at the library and viewed surveillance video and observed the teen get into a vehicle being driven by 38-year-old Crystal Shephard, of Bowling Green, who then drove away.
She was arrested on Wednesday and charged with felony custodial interference and disorderly conduct and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
On Wednesday night, a relative of the missing juvenile discovered the teen in his or her residence after coming home from work. The teen was unharmed.
