Grayson County Clerk Sherry Weedman has announced several days that the Clerk’s Office will be closed for the upcoming holiday season.
Weedman said the Clerk’s Office will be closed for Christmas on December 24 and 25. The office will also be closed on December 31 and January 1 for the New Year Holiday.
The Clerk’s Office will additionally be closed on January 2 thru January 4. Per state statute, newly elected County Clerk Charlotte Willis cannot take office until the first Monday in January, according to Weedman, who said the Clerk’s Office will reopen Monday, January 7.
