Beaver Dam woman busted on DUI charge found with meth, Hydrocodone

Sunday night at approximately 5:15, Kentucky State Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on North Main Street in Beaver Dam for a traffic violation.

Police said upon making contact with the driver, 44-year-old Susan C. Boyd, of Beaver Dam, authorities suspected she was under the influence and asked her to exit the vehicle. While investigating, police located methamphetamine, Hydrocodone pills and a glass pipe inside the vehicle.

Boyd was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, DUI, and having a prescription not in its proper container along with several non-moving violations.

She was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center but has since been released.
